Valentine Wreath

Today is a blizzard snowy day. I'm staying warm with my pup on my lap, a pumpkin chocolate chip muffin and an episode of Parenthood. I love that show! My husband used to watch it with me but he found it sad and depressing this season. I love it for its real life issues. The Max character reminds me of our son who had ADHD. There are similarities with both of these challenges and I can relate to the struggles that the parents face on the show. Luckily my son has been growing out of the ADHD symptoms that he was facing almost daily. I'm happy to see that the Christine character has been given a cancer free prognosis. Is this the season finale? I'll have to look into that, I hope not.

I was organizing the other day and found my Valentine Wreath from a couple of years ago. It was a little pitiful so I beefed it up.

The Valentine Wreath is made with a thick wire bent in a heart shape, you can use a coat hanger. Then tie a bunch of fabric scraps to the wire. Each scrap or ribbon I used was about 5-6 inches long and 1 centimeter wide. I have fabric ribbon, gift ribbon, cotton and fleece scraps tied on the heart wire. A super easy craft! It matches my tree of love hearts seen on my previous post. Below is my helper Buddy who is going to be 6 years old soon. He crawled right into my scrap pink fabric.

  1. I love this wreath! The colors, the fact that its semi-messy but still chic...perfect! :) You should enter your photos from this project into Craftbaby's Hearts Craft Challenge :-) http://www.craftbaby.com/contests/43/those-tiny-toes-hearts-craft
